About Ranyati Arms
Every used firearm we list is personally inspected for mechanical condition, bore wear, and documented provenance before it ever appears on this page. We deal in used handguns, rifles and shotguns — calibres ranging from .22 LR through to common service and hunting cartridges — sourced through legitimate, properly documented channels.
Ranyati Arms is operated from Pretoria, Gauteng, serving buyers across Gauteng (including Johannesburg) and the rest of South Africa. Viewings are by appointment. Sales are conducted in accordance with the Firearms Control Act 60 of 2000 — you'll need a valid SAPS firearm competency for the relevant category, and the licence for the specific firearm is applied for after purchase using the SAPS 271 we issue.
Ranyati Arms is a division of the Ranyati Group, which also operates Ranyati Motivations (professional firearm licence motivation letters) and Ranyati Storage (secure firearm storage in Pretoria).
Browse the current stock above and click Enquire on any listing. The licence application for a specific firearm can only begin once you've bought it: you pay for the firearm, and we then issue a SAPS 271 with the firearm's details so you can lodge your licence application. You'll need a valid SAPS competency for the relevant category, and our sister brand Ranyati Motivations can prepare a professional motivation to support it. The firearm is transferred to you only once your licence is granted.
All sales are subject to the Firearms Control Act 60 of 2000 (South Africa). No firearm is transferred without a valid SAPS competency and applicable licence.
